Delivery

The freight chaos, since the Jan 1st Brexit customs changes, has meant that some recent shipments have been among the first orders to come through the new system. All orders should have been delivered without charges, as you have already paid them. We need a little more time to investigate with DPD, and try to get the charge cancelled.

If this has happened to you could you please email the breakdown of the charges to us at [email protected] making sure to reference your order number. Our UK office and phone lines are currently closed due to Covid-19 interruptions, so we will be contacting you via email.

If we cannot get the charge cancelled, as the goods have already cleared customs, we may have to ask you to pay it, and we will refund it to you. However we will get back to you on that.

Delivery/Orders/Order Confirmations

We are experiencing significant demand for our products at this time and as a result Order Processing can take 3-5 working days. In addition our delivery service providers are cautioning on backlogs and delays in their networks due to a combination of Covid19 and Brexit. Please note that when we confirm tracking numbers for your order, bear in mind that there may be delays to normal delivery lead times. As a result Shipping Lead times could take up to 4 – 7 working days. Therefore you may need to allow between 7-12 working days for delivery of your order.

Returns & Exchanges/Order Confirmations

We will endeavour to get any exchanges or refunds processed as quickly as we can, however due to a combination of high demand, Covid 19 interruptions, and Brexit related shipping issues, there could be a delay of up to 10 to 14 days.

We deliver to the UK and the Channel Islands only. If you wish to ship to another country then please review the table below to access the relevant website. Dubarry fulfilment of website orders is determined by a combination of the following; the nearest fulfilment centre to you, the most cost effective delivery solution available and compliance with the prevailing VAT/Sales Tax obligations. 

SHIPPING OPTIONS WITHIN THE UK

1. DPD/Interlink Standard delivery from our door to yours. We endeavour to fulfil every standard shipping order in 4-5 working days. The cost of Standard Delivery is £9 and is FREE for UK orders over £149.

If there are dispatch delays affecting normal service, we post current delivery and delay information on our website. Individual orders experiencing delays at our end are always informed directly.

Delivery Times

Our couriers deliver between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays only (not bank holidays). You will receive an automated email on dispatch of your goods. For specific information on your order please log in to your account.

Upon Delivery

For shoes, boots, luggage (or any orders of an insurable value) our couriers will require a signature on delivery. You may provide a delivery address other than that of your home if you are not at home during the day. If you provide a work address, please ensure that the correct office/department/floor details are supplied.

Fulfilment of Orders

Dubarry of Ireland endeavours to fulfil every order in the shortest possible time (typically 4-5 working days where items are in stock at our UK point of distribution and up to 14 days where items may need to ship from our headquarters in Ireland). Where stocked out items are placed on back order the lead time may be longer.

Where multiple items are purchased in an order customers may recieve separate packages. Where multiple orders are placed we are unable to combine orders retrospectively due to short fulfillment times.

There may be rare occasions where we face stock shortages through circumstances beyond our control. Should such circumstances arise, Dubarry of Ireland reserve the right to extend the lead time for fulfilment or extend the back-order period where appropriate and within reason. This does not affect your right to cancel any order already placed and receive a full refund to the value of the cancelled order.

Taxation

Customers outside the EU (including Channel Islands) are not charged the UK’s Value Added Tax (VAT) but are responsible for the payment of any local applicable taxes including import duties which may be charged by your border and duty authority directly to you on delivery. These charges will vary depending on your country of residence. We cannot accept responsibility for these charges.
